Our team sits at the heart of Microsoft’s AI & HPC (High Performance Computing) business – shaping and delivering the next generation of supercomputing. As a Compliance and PMO lead, you will help develop, operate, and maintain services supporting the evolving needs of one of our largest and most significant customers.

As a Compliance and PMO manager you will be responsible for compliance, processes, education, and assessments of delivery requirements ensuring the complex program of works remain complaint and accurate. You will also deliver the day-to-day PMO activities, including interfacing with the customer and their PMO.

This role will allow you to develop your commercial and operational delivery skills through a strong program delivery disciple. Responsibilities

  • Independently aligns moderately complex solutions that meet program and customer needs.
  • Create and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to commercial contract and PMO delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer PMO and support Microsoft Commercial SMEs as needed.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on commercial and compliance best practices.
  • Independently develops innovative plans and processes to efficiently execute customer solutions and projects, scaling for multiple/complex customers as possible.
  • Documents processes and learnings during customer projects and engagements to identify patterns in insights for process development (e.g., blockers in the beginning, actions taken, qualifiers of success).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Program Management/PMO experience.
Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience AND
  • Program Project Mangement certification.
  • Demonstrable experience of program governance and management of complex processes.
