Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Midwife to work within the Tair Sir/Three Counties Community Team that would include Crymych, Cardigan, Newcastle Emlyn, Llandysul, Llanybydder and Lampeter areas, providing all aspects of midwifery care for women and their families in the community setting of rural Wales.
The Team are extremely supportive and encouraging of each other enabling one another to develop and progress within their roles.
Main duties of the job
You will be key in providing and increasing Midwifery Led Care and promoting home births and supporting the Midwifery Led Care Unit at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen.
You will also be the co-ordinator of care for high-risk pregnancies working closely with the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a high quality seamless service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

48 general practices (six of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
