And we need a Digital Executive to help drive our digital presence, ensuring our campaigns and platforms perform at their best.
Functional Overview
To deliver better, more creative and cost-effective solutions for our business, we are expanding our in-house agency team, to support the Global Asahi brands and local market activities. As part of this model, we need a Community Manager, who work as part of our social media team to deliver social plans and build engaged communities, planning, scope and executing plans across all relevant social channels.
You will be part of the Asahi In-House agency, working alongside Client service, creative, social and digital teams to deliver for our brands and markets. Our primary focus in our first 2 years will be around excellence in digital and social. We have set an ambitious goal for the IHA, growing over the next 4 years and expanding our remit and capabilities. You will be helping with that growth, delivering solutions that can be utilized across our global brands and local markets.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work and supporting the social team. You have a passion for growing and managing our online community, fostering engagement, and building meaningful relationships with our audience. Overseeing social media interactions, moderating forums, partaking in community events, and ensuring that our community remains active and engaged.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Asahi Europe & International is part of Asahi Group Holdings, a global beer, spirits, soft drinks, and food group with leading positions in European and Asia-Pacific markets, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Japan. As of November 2020, Asahi Europe & International Group runs 19 production facilities in 8 countries across Europe and is the custodian of some of the best beer brands in the world, including Asahi Super Dry, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Grolsch, and Kozel. Within the Asahi Group, the remit of Asahi Europe and International is also to develop and manage all export markets globally, outside of Japan and Oceania. Covering 90 markets and with over 10,000 passionate colleagues on board, the business is well positioned to inspire people around the world to drink better.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Act as the primary point of contact for the brand’s online and offline community across social media, forums, and other platforms.
- Develop, implement, and manage community-building initiatives to drive user engagement.
- Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and posts in a timely and professional manner, Monitoring conversations on social media and forums, fostering positive relationships and encouraging healthy discussion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, such as posts, articles, videos, and polls, that resonates with the community.
- Develop and share user-generated content, testimonials, and success stories to highlight community impact.
- Address any issues or conflicts within the community, ensuring a respectful and positive environment.
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure it aligns with community guidelines and brand values.
- Analyse community growth and engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with influencers or brand advocates to expand community reach and presence.
- Gather feedback and insights from community members and report this information to internal teams to help improve products or services.
- University degree
- At least 2+ years working in social / digital.
- Experience working in creative agencies or in-house agencies.
- Experience working with global and local markets.
- FMCG experience advantageous.
- Work on some of the world’s most recognised beer brands, delivering digital solutions that make an impact.
