We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Broker to join our thriving Commercial team within Griffiths & Armour.
The Commercial Broker will deliver a high-quality efficient service to our clients, and as an expert member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate technical advice and support is given.
This is a busy role with a high volume of work including broking and day to day administrative services to our clients, whilst supporting the wider team. You will also have responsibility for your own allocated clients. You will also have an opportunity to take part in project and development work with your technical expertise.

What The Day Will Look Like
We are looking for a candidate with some previous broking experience dealing with SMEs in the insurance industry, and ideally DIP CII qualified or working towards.
You will have a developed understanding of the insurance market including commercial client and business and risk issues. You will be a conscientious, professional person who enjoys a challenge and having responsibility for a variety of work. You will be able to prioritise your work using your initiative and effectively manage your time and workload.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Provide prompt and technical commercial advice and support.
- Accesses the insurance market on the client’s behalf to access competitive terms or speedy resolution to client queries wherever possible utilising IB facilities.
- Ensure all documentation produced for the client is accurate and issued within deadlines.
- Determine broking strategy and programme design in conjunction with client service colleagues.
- Partake in marketing led cross and up selling activities.
- Coordinate with the Claims team to ensure time efficient settlement of claims.
- Work in accordance with Compliance requirements.
