To be responsible for the systematic provision of high quality psychological assessment, intervention, and risk management for service users under the care of the LSCFD Community Forensic Teams. To provide formal and structured psychological consultations with members of the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to well developed psychologically informed risk management and care plans for individual service users. This is a senior clinical role within the team and the post holder will adopt a leadership position and play a role in facilitating service development; alongside Service/Team Managers, a Lead Consultant Psychiatrist, and other senior clinicians.

  • To provide a comprehensive psychology service to the Community Forensic Teams.
  • To provide expert risk assessment and risk management to the Community Forensic Teams and to other areas within the Trust and to partner agencies.
  • To provide clinical leadership and service development to the team.
  • To oversee line management and clinical supervision of psychological professions.
