Children’s Support Worker - Full Time - Blackpool - Pay Rates starting from £13 per Hour PLUS Holiday Pay and Pension.

Alcedo Care Blackpool are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to support children with complex needs living at home across the Blackpool and Fylde coast area.

This will include working with children with autism, epilepsy, ADHD and other complex needs. Training will be provided. NVQ Level 2/3 in Children's or Adult's Health and Social Care OR 6 months relevant experience is preferred but full training and support is provided.

Role

Join our team of Care Assistants in the Blackpool and surrounding area to help provide care and assist people in their own homes. Our in-house training team will ensure you are trained to the high standards of care we expect. This role will include:

  • Providing personal care (including bathing, dressing, toileting).
  • Supporting clients with moving and handling.
  • Administering and documenting medication (full training given and shadowing).
  • Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in conditions to our branch teams.

We will upskill you to work on our clinical care packages and our children support packages.

You must be 18 to apply for this role and it is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also be required to provide satisfactory professional and/or character references.
