Calderdale Sports Service Disability Sports Development Team promote the participation and inclusion of all individuals and groups wishing to access various service provision. The service emphasises the importance of personalised engagement with customers to strengthen our offerings in sport.
Calderdale Sports Service aims to provide accessible physical activity opportunities for people from different inequality groups, offering both disability specific provision and integrated mainstream sessions.
To assist in the planning and delivery of disability specific and adapted mainstream sport and leisure sessions and events coordinated by Calderdale Sports Services throughout the authority. Supporting children & young people with additional needs in the inclusion of the programmed sessions.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the inclusion of children and young people with SEND in sport and leisure programmes and an understanding of their needs. Strong communication skills and knowledge of session planning in relation to a varied programme of activities for SEND children is essential.
Closing Date: 10th November 2024.
Interview Date: 20th November 2024.
