Avante Care & Support is looking for a dynamic Care Systems Trainer to support the successful rollout and adoption of digital systems across our care homes and services.
In this role, you’ll be a key player in driving digital transformation, empowering frontline teams to feel confident with technology, and ensuring our systems enhance the quality of care we provide.
What You’ll Do
Drive Digital Change
- Support the implementation, rollout, and evaluation of digital care systems and tools.
- Be a go-to expert on platforms like Nourish, Camascope, and PainChek.
- Collect and escalate feedback to ensure systems work for the people using them.
- Design and deliver engaging, tailored training—both in-person and online.
- Create easy-to-understand guides and resources for staff at all levels.
- Identify training needs and respond with practical, learner-friendly solutions.
- Clearly explain system changes and digital updates in a way that resonates with diverse teams.
- Ensure staff feel supported and informed through every step of the digital journey.
- Use feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and digital innovation.
- Continuously review and refine training and communication methods.
- Stay up to date with sector-leading tools and best practices in care technology.
- Work closely with the Project Delivery Manager, care home managers, and IT teams.
- Encourage a positive digital culture rooted in support, learning, and confidence.
- Build strong working relationships with tech providers and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Quick learner with the ability to explain tech to others.
- Organised, proactive, and confident working independently.
- A supportive, patient, and people-focused approach.
- Driving license, in order to travel regularly to care homes.
- Experience working in a health or social care environment.
- Previous experience delivering training or onboarding staff.
- Skilled at writing clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Familiarity with systems like Nourish, Camascope, or PainChek.
- Experience improving workflows or documenting operational processes.
