We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Capital Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Council’s key strategic Capital Projects.

About the post


As a Capital Project Manager you’ll manage multi-million-pound budgets, senior level governance arrangements, and complex inter-dependent project plans.


In this role, you will manage the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects, including:


  • New schools
  • New Council homes
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Leisure facilities


You'll also ensure that all projects meet critical timescales, are completed within approved budgets, and are delivered to a high standard.


The ideal candidate


We're looking for individuals with extensive experience in construction and capital project management, backed by a relevant professional qualification.


You'll need a proven track record of successfully delivering large capital projects on time, within budget, and to high quality.


You'll have a solid understanding of public sector finance alongside the ability to navigate competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
