Our market ready platform, VICTA, is an optionally crewed / payload carrying dual-domain platform designed to operate at speed over range, capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery of effects within contested waters. It is a unique, innovative British platform focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Cable Routing:
    • Design complex cable and harness systems using Inventor’s cable and harness environment.
    • Integrate electrical components into mechanical designs.
    • Generate comprehensive documentation and reports for cable and harness designs.
  • 3D Modelling:
    • Create detailed and accurate 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
    • Create and manage complex assemblies within Inventor and Vault.
  • 2D Drafting:
    • Generate precise 2D drawings from 3D models.
    • Ensure technical drawings meet industry standards and support manufacturing or procurement.
    • Enhance drawings with accurate annotations and dimensions.
Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D CAD design, with Autodesk software including Inventor and Vault.
  • Excellent organisational skills including time management, prioritisation, and deadline adherence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to create accurate technical drawings and models.
  • Experiences of workshop and manufacturing environments is desirable.

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum Existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.*
