We are recruiting for a Buying Administrator to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Reigate Head Office.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

Supporting the Senior Buying Administrator with goods received and invoice query processes, administering purchase card transactions on COINS, and ensuring VAT receipts are collected and recorded. You'll also be responsible for placing low-value, high-volume orders and maintaining strong communication with site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

You're friendly, personable, and highly organised. You're committed to learning and growing, and you enjoy building strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. You're also confident speaking on the phone and have some experience using the phone in a professional setting—whether that's chasing up information, resolving queries, or coordinating with suppliers.

You'll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)

  • Previous experience in administration (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel (essential)
  • A proactive approach to resolving invoice and goods received queries
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to improving procurement processes
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent relevant experience
