A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Business Intern for the Parts Business team, you will be working within the Siemens Energy Gas Services division in Lincoln. You will assist the department with administrative support, developing sales and projects bids, and supporting the team on delivering against their order entry and revenue targets.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.

As a Business Intern for the Parts Business team, you will be working within the Siemens Energy Gas Services division in Lincoln. You will assist the department with administrative support, developing sales and projects bids, and supporting the team on delivering against their order entry and revenue targets.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Supporting the creation of sales tenders (including customer engagement).
- Receive and process customer requests within given timeline, enter these into Sales Force, and coordinate all further required updates.
- Support project execution alongside various team members. Responsibility for data entry and management.
- Own customer happiness process and drive improvement.
- Analyse project lifecycle and suggest improvement areas.
- Studying an engineering or business degree with predicted 2.2 or above.
- Hard-working individual that consistently takes ownership and can work with minimal supervision.
- Effectively work as part of a diverse, multi-disciplined team.
- Detail oriented and analytically minded, able to problem solve.
- Can understand and effectively communicate complex information, proficient in writing and IT skills including use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a bid environment, and/ or working in SAP/ Sales Force would be beneficial, however not essential.
