Business Analyst - Business change
Tunbridge Wells 2-3 days per week, the rest remote working

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Analyst to Join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

The successful candidate will undertake end to end business analysis ensuring co-ordination of impact assessments, requirements definition and functional design across systems, processes, people, data and journeys to ensure an end-to-end solution design is in place.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all change requirements are defined end to end and that the impact on systems, people, processes, data and journeys are understood
  • Responsible for ensuring end to end requirements analysis and functionality is compliant with company standards and business and technical target architectures and where this is not possible that appropriate governance approval has been given
  • Working within the Business Analysis Practice, follows a structured end to end business analysis and design framework which ensures appropriate decisions can be made regarding changes to systems, data requirements and processes and the impacts of doing so including EPIC and user story creation within Agile teams
  • Influences and supports business users in being able to define the requirement rather than the solution needed
  • Manages the development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to end to end business requirements and functional design
  • Reviews/signs off of testing strategies, plans, criteria and results to ensure delivery of end-to-end solutions
  • Manages change in business requirements throughout the project, ensuring all change management activity takes place and impacts of change are fully documented and understood
  • Identifies and progresses any synergies across projects, programmes or releases to ensure that change is delivered in the most effective way.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Solid experience of defining end to end solutions, taking into account the impact of requirements definition and functional design across systems, people, processes, data and journeys and supporting benefits delivery
  • Excellent experience using an end-to-end business analysis and design framework which ensures appropriate decisions can be made regarding changes to systems and processes and the impacts of doing so
  • Good understanding of technical and business architecture and strong experience of customer and employee journey mapping and analysis to meet this
  • Good understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management activities
  • Good change leadership experience
  • Experience of working within Agile teams
  • Ability to work at a conceptual level where business objectives & requirements may not be well defined
  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and communicate in business language
  • Well-developed facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and documentation skills
  • Able to take an enterprise-wide view of the business and Experience in design thinking
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management skills, able to focus business users on defining outcomes
  • Thorough knowledge of IT development lifecycles, data management theory and process design methods and strong experience of data analysis, governance and classification.
