We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BackUp Engineer to work closely with our client at their site in East Midlands.

Essential Requirements

• SC Cleared, UK National (No Dual Nationality)
• EMC Networker skills / EMC Storage desirable
• Located locally in the East Midlands (Derby, Nottingham, Leicester)
• Willing to work on a client site 3 days a week
  
  

Daily Duties include- Run

• Daily backup checks across 11 Datazones (airgapped)
• Data Domain management including Disk replacements
• Data Recovery – Tape Archive Solution
• Backup configuration (creation, modification, deletion)
• Adhoc backup & recovery requests
• Monthly reporting of backup statistics
• Weekly Data Domain capacity reporting
• BuR Support for Linux/Wintel/Apps/Storage/Oracle/SQL
• BuR Support for ECOsystem partners
• BuR Support for project team
• ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change)
• RTPA Signoff / HOP
