The Dynamic Physiotherapy Department At King’s College Hospital Is Looking For a Motivated And Enthusiastic Physiotherapist To Join The Multidisciplinary Paediatric Team. The Post Holder In a Fixed Term Capacity Will Join One Of The Four Rotations Below, With Opportunities To Gain Experience Amongst Wider Clinical Paediatric Teams
To assess, treat and manage own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records.
To work as an enthusiastic and effective team member, communicating appropriately with patients, carers and other team members as required.
To teach and develop junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and physiotherapy assistants within the paediatric team.
To undertake an evidence-based project throughout each rotation to further clinical practice of self and the team, and to enhance patient care.
To participate in clinical audits and service development.
To take part in the on call and weekend rota.

- Respiratory including PICU, HDU, liver and multi visceral transplant, as well as support the general surgery and orthopaedic inpatients.
- Neurology, neurosurgery and neuro-rehabilitation patients within PICU, HDU and the neuro wards.
- Cystic fibrosis and long-term respiratory conditions including bronchiectasis and long-term ventilation, both inpatient and outpatient and may include clinic visits to hospitals in the King’s CF region.
- Neonates including the level 3 neonatal unit at King’s College Hospital, Special Care Baby Unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital, and attendance at neurodevelopmental follow up clinics.
