About The Role
The Head of Service Design is a key leadership position within the Strategic Change team.
It is responsible for building and embedding the practice of service design at UCL, ensuring that we put users needs at the centre of our thinking.
Engaging, strategic, and influential, you will design a set of high-volume services used across the university. Acting as a trusted partner to Deans, Directors, and Functional Leads, you will focus on building a portfolio to support new strategic objectives and improve professional services.
We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.5 FTE – equivalent of 2.5 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

You will be a strong leader, with exceptional influencing skills, ensuring effective engagement with all stakeholders across the university. Experienced in developing and launching services in a large and complex organisation, you will be adept at transformation and change management, and key communications that go alongside.
