- Plan and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and address audit risks, implementing effective control measures.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the audit process.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Support the development of junior staff through training and mentoring.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless audit integration.
A Successful Audit Assistant Manager Should Have
- Professional qualifications in accounting or auditing, such as ACA or ACCA.
- Experience in managing audit processes within the professional services industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in audit software and related tools.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
