This a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join a brilliant secondary school based in Oldham. The purpose of this role is to support the school community and to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
- Answer and record first day phone calls
- Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
- Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
- Follow up on any missing registration marks
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Math and English (grade 4-9)(C-A*) or equivalent
- The ideal candidate will have experience in attendance management in a school environment
- The ideal candidate will have experience with the handling of sensitive and confidential student information
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
