This a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join a brilliant secondary school based in Oldham. The purpose of this role is to support the school community and to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.

About The Role

Position: Attendance Officer

Location: Oldham

Contract: Full time/ Permanent

Salary: £85-100 per day

School: Secondary based in Oldham

Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
• Answer and record first day phone calls
• Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
• Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
• Follow up on any missing registration marks
  
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Math and English (grade 4-9)(C-A*) or equivalent
• The ideal candidate will have experience in attendance management in a school environment
• The ideal candidate will have experience with the handling of sensitive and confidential student information
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
