Full Time – 40 hours per week working 5 days over 7
Up to £30,000 per annum, plus tronc

Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award-winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.

The Role
- Engaging with guests and team members to meet and exceed their needs
- Making sure the ambiance and standards of presentation within the restaurant, lounge areas and bar exceed expectations
- Ensuring continuous learning and development for both yourself and the team
- Identifying new ways to surprise customer and delivering the highest standard of service
- Handling any customer complaints, fulfilling duty management shifts and ensuring any service recovery is completed to the guest’s satisfaction
- Keeping up to date with the industry and market both locally and nationally
- Proactively instilling the Swinton Estate values in every interaction with staff and guests alike
- Experienced at a similar level
- People focused
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Knowledgeable of fine dining and wine, however, full training will be given
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Focused on providing excellent customer service
