From a Finance department perspective, a fast paced, varied and multi-funtional department bringing all these elements together in a clear way.

As we enter into the summer holiday season, we are seeking a proactive, self-sufficient ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to support our finance team on a 3 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT in a varied and adaptive capacity.

  • IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED (or at least the ability to start over the next 2weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support the month-end close process including journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the analysis of variances against budget and forecast
  • Weekly performance reports
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Strong MS Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
