Assistant Accountant

About The Role

Reporting directly to our Management Accountants, you’ll play a key part in producing daily and weekly financial and operational reports. You will be required to carry out a variety of tasks throughout the month to support the Accounts team, while also contributing to high-quality audit results and accurate management accounts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing financial and operational reports
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Working with nominal journals
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc finance tasks
  
  

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s methodical, team-focused, and confident working to deadlines. The ideal candidate will also bring:

• Strong communication skills
• A collaborative approach to working with others
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office packages
• Self-discipline and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Salary: Competitive

Working pattern: 37.5 weekly hours, Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm with 30 minute lunch break
