Assistant Accountant

Description

• Assist with financial reporting and month-end close procedures.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Assist with audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Work with the finance team in daily operational tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Previous roles in transactional finance or as an accounting technician
