The successful applicant will be responsible for optimising the effectiveness and efficiency of the branch through coordination and management of branch resources. They will coordinate the branch calendar, the act as the focal point for the flow of information into, around and out of the branch, assigning tasks as required. The incumbent will Line Manage the branch HEOs and the EO Office Manager/iHub and will provide the branch focal point for Civil Service-related advice and administration; whilst contributing to wider organisational Civil Service-related activities where an SEO grade is required e.g. discipline and interviewing. They will act as the deputy and advisor to the military branch head, and should be prepared to undertake any other tasks reasonable for the grade as directed.

You should be aware that the Army Personnel Centre is currently undergoing a workforce redesign project and this may impact on roles and tasks in the future
