We are on the lookout for a friendly and caring Animal Care Assistant to join our fantastic team here at PetVets. This is a full-time permanent role working 36 hours over 4 days per week from 9:00am - 6:00pm.
As an Animal Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our Reception team and Clinical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

With over 50 years of combined experience, our team of skilled and compassionate vets offers a full range of services, including emergency care, routine treatments, and advanced diagnostics. We are an accredited practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional approach to every horse we treat. Our friendly and experienced team is committed to delivering the best for all equine companions.

- Assisting Veterinary Surgeons and RVN's with patient's and adhering to the patient's needs.
- Manual handling and caring for animals with empathy and compassion.
- Focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the practice.
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
