We are hiring an AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Professional Services team (Customer Success team) and work with UK & EMEA based customers.

Reporting to: AlgoSec Resident Engineers Manager

Location: UK (Home office)

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, operating and maintaining AlgoSec products, troubleshooting assistance, upgrade planning, knowledge transfer of key sections of the product. Perform product customizations to a certain level. Consult customer with best practices and being their 'Trusted Advisor'. Working in tight integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, CSM, and R&D departments.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
  • Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
  • Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.)
  • Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.)
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
  • Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.
  • Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, attention to details.
  • Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
  • Act as AlgoSec’s eyes & ears: monitor shifts in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Strategy).
  • Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including frequent on-site visits to AlgoSec customers in UK & EMEA.
