Job Overview

We are seeking an Affiliate Manager to develop and expand our affiliate strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing affiliate partnerships, optimising existing relationships, and driving revenue through performance-based marketing. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of affiliate marketing in the digital media space, is data-driven, and has a passion for endurance sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy that aligns with our editorial and commercial goals.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage new affiliate partnerships with brands, retailers, and networks within the endurance sports industry.
  • Supporting the Commercial Director to grow partnerships beyond just affiliate
  • Optimise existing affiliate relationships to maximise revenue and engagement.
  • Collaborate with editorial and content teams to integrate affiliate links organically within articles, gear reviews, and other content formats.
  • Manage the review process end-to-end from identifying products to test, arranging testers to trial the products and return reviews for publication.
  • Monitor affiliate performance metrics, analyse data, and provide regular reports to optimise strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate commission structures and incentives with partners to maximise profitability.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new affiliate opportunities, and best practices in digital publishing and e-commerce.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines in affiliate marketing.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital media, or e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate networks (e.g., Awin, CJ, Avantlink, Impact, Amazon Associates) and direct brand partnerships.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and optimising performance using tools like Google Analytics, affiliate dashboards, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners.
  • Experience working with content teams to integrate affiliate strategies effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for endurance sports (running, cycling, triathlon, etc.) is a plus.
