Full Time: 35 hours

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Quality Assurance – within the education sector or similar - to propel their career with an industry leading apprenticeship with EAL. EAL design, provide, and maintain a comprehensive range of qualifications, assessments, and skills solutions. During this apprenticeship you will work across various Awarding Organisation functions, including government regulators. Your core responsibilities will include implementing quality management plans, conducting audits to maintain quality standards, verifying the quality of EAL qualifications, products, and assessment services, and analysing and addressing the root causes of poor quality.

What you’ll be doing

As a Quality Assurance Practitioner during your apprenticeship, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce errors in quality monitoring and enhance the overall quality of qualifications delivered. You’ll incorporate performance practices into these strategies while ensuring high standards in assessment delivery, aiming for Right First Time and On-Time certification. Your role will involve collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including learners, employers, and educational institutions, to drive customer satisfaction and improve service delivery. Additionally, you will work on measuring supplier performance, ensuring internal and external partners, such as assessors and quality assurance colleagues, meet the required standards.

You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining the organisation's Quality Policies, Processes, and Procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through planned audits. By identifying and addressing non-conformances in assessment processes, you’ll advise on corrective actions to prevent future issues. You’ll also be involved in validating the quality of assessments and qualifications, ensuring timely delivery of certification services. Your expertise will be essential in developing quality control and assurance plans, as well as using various tools to improve compliance and reduce errors. Furthermore, you will analyse quality performance data to support governance, provide guidance on improving quality competence, and assist in assessing quality risks in new or modified qualifications to ensure continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in Quality Assurance – preferably in the education sector or you may have experience in another sector with transferable skills.
  • Ability to engage with other colleagues, customers and stakeholders, as well as good organisation skills
  • An understanding of awarding organisation regulators
  • Ability to demonstrate data analysis and evaluation skills

Why Choose Us:

Joining EAL means being part of a team committed to excellence and innovation in skills development. As an Apprentice Quality Practitioner, you'll receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
