Flint Bishop provides the complete commercial debt recovery service from panel leading 'DCA' stage pre-legal bulk collections through to cost-effective litigation, all handled in-house by a Legal 500 'Tier 1' law firm.
We provide the full end-to-end recovery service, delivered to the highest quality standards.
Due to firmwide growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Administration Assistant to support the fee earners in our Debt department at the firms Cardiff office with administrative support.
This role reports on a day-to-day basis to the Partner for the Cardiff office and is full time, Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- File opening and file closing.
- Preparing LBAs.
- Complete court documentation as required.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
- Scanning post to matters.
- Supporting the firm's finance department on billing issues.
- Use the firms case systems including Liberate & Tikit to obtain MI and reporting for management teams.
- Any other finance or administration tasks set by the Partner in Cardiff.
You will:
- Have excellent telephone handling skills and be a strong communicator.
- Preferably have previous experience in administration.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Be focused on resolutions and positive outcomes.
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines with your caseloads.
- Be enthusiastic and work hard to develop with the team and the business.
- Be committed but patient with the journey, career progression opportunities are available and our business is growing, but you must show that you can master the collections advisor role and fully understand it to open up conversations about promotion or progression - we will work with you on your development.
