We currently have Healthcare Support Worker positions on our medical wards at the University Hospital of Wales
As a Healthcare Support Worker in our areas you will play a crucial part in our nursing teams, we are committed to providing the skills and training that you need to help you in delivering high quality care to our patients. You will be able to work collaboratively alongside the Multi Disciplinary Team.
You should have good communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
To work in our team, you’ll need to demonstrate the core values as set out by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board;
Kind and caring; Respectful; Trust and integrity; Personal responsibility
As well as a dynamic, friendly working environment we offer a full induction programme and an individual personal development plan to guide your development within the role. We have an educational pathway to support ongoing learning development to enable all staff to maximise their potential in providing safe and effective care, supporting staff in academic learning.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
