Join Our Team as an Activities Coordinator!

Are you passionate about improving the well-being of others and making a real difference in the lives of elderly residents? We are currently seeking a dynamic, caring, and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team, providing engaging and enriching activities for residents across three homes located in the Wirral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and delivering a wide range of activities to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Tailoring activities to meet the individual needs and preferences of each resident, ensuring inclusivity and dignity.
  • Coordinating events, outings, and celebrations across all homes.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to encourage active participation.
  • Ensuring that all activities are delivered in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Maintaining records of resident participation and progress in activities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Activities Coordinator, ideally within a care home or residential setting.
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and the ability to adapt activities accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to plan a variety of activities that suit different interests and abilities.
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential, as travel between homes is required).
