The Role

As an Accounts Senior, you’ll work across a diverse client base, preparing management and statutory accounts, supporting with VAT returns, and helping clients embrace cloud accounting tools. You’ll also take an active role in reviewing the work of junior team members and building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing management and statutory accounts for a range of clients.
  • Completing and reviewing VAT returns.
  • Advising clients on cloud accounting software and add-ons.
  • Building rapport and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
  • Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering an excellent client experience.

About you:

  • You’re a qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience accountant with at least 3 years of experience in a practice environment.
  • You enjoy working with clients and are confident building trust and offering advice.
  • You have experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks).
  • You’re proactive, professional, and keen to keep learning.
  • You’re motivated by progression and ready to take on more responsibility.
