Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements against the company’s records.
  • Handle queries and discrepancies from suppliers and internal departments.
  • Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for purchase ledger documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting.
  • Support the finance team in audits and financial reviews.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • AAT qualification or similar is desirable but not essential.
