Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements against the company’s records.
- Handle queries and discrepancies from suppliers and internal departments.
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
- Maintain an organized filing system for purchase ledger documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting.
- Support the finance team in audits and financial reviews.
- Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- AAT qualification or similar is desirable but not essential.
