So, who are we looking for?

You’re someone who has a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. With experience in a financial role you’ll have had exposure to multiple accounts and youll be confident championing high standards whilst delivering transactional activities for the day to day running of our organisation.

You’ll be studying towards the ACCA qualification and have a desire to grow in your accounting career which we’ll be excited to support you in and see you excel in over the first 12 months as you develop into a Management Accountant.

And what will you be doing?

No two days are the same, but the below gives you a flavour of some of the tasks you’d typically be involved with. Even if you can’t tick everything off from the list below but think you’ve got what it takes, we’d be keen for you to apply:

  • Daily reporting and processing of subsidiary company transactions
  • Processing vendor and customer invoices onto accounting software
  • Monitoring mailbox for correspondence and allocating out to team members according
  • Responding to queries from internal and external departments
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding invoice queries
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Conducting weekly credit control duties
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Reviewing postal items and distribute to those required
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Managing both director credit card & employee expenses.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly accounts, providing variance reports to support activity
  • Answering calls in relation to finance and supporting the team across other functions
  • Supporting external accountants with providing data and analysis as requested by line manager
