As an Account Manager, you are responsible to drive sales (both sell-in and sell-out) across all Harman brands and
product categories for several designated retail accounts in the UK. You are responsible for building upon strong
customer relationships, creating and achieving sales plans, as well as driving excellence on-line and in-store to
meet the business objectives.

As an Account Manager, you are responsible to drive sales (both sell-in and sell-out) across all Harman brands and
product categories for several designated retail accounts in the UK. You are responsible for building upon strong
customer relationships, creating and achieving sales plans, as well as driving excellence on-line and in-store to
meet the business objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Work in collaboration with UK Sales team, Supply Chain, Sales Support and Business Administration teams to manage, nurture and optimise existing account and distribution relationships.
- Design and implement account plans, reporting progress towards targets.
- Drive visibility online ensuring all content and promotions are executed fully.
- Maximise, monitor and manage sales promotions.
- Monitor traffic and conversion for online accounts, providing reports and plans toward continued growth.
- Monitor and report competitive trends and market developments, proposing strategies in-line with your findings.
- Manage the merchandising and promotional support for the relevant outlets.
- Analyse sales results and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
- Develop sales intake and sales out forecasts for your accounts.
- Focus on optimising the product mix at retail (sales/volume/brand).
- Act as the escalation point for the Sales Support team when dealing with order related topics.
- Work with the centralised supply chain team to monitor the customer stock situation.
- Reduce sales cost for cost optimisation.
- Report all customer contacts and sales proposals.
- At least five years of sales within the UK consumer electronics or high-tech industry and/or at a relevant customer/competitor/retailer.
- Direct and extensive experience working with top-tier retailers in the region.
- In depth knowledge of the customers and opportunities in the region.
- Sales drive and the ability to maintain and extend long term commercial relationships.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
- Understanding of modern replenishment tools, proven proficiency in MS Office including high competency of Excel.
- Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic only with occasional international travel.
- Ability to work in an office up to two days per week, located in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead in the UK.
