As the Academy Senior Manager for Central Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our operating model by transferring knowledge, building capability and embedding best learning & development practices across the organization.

Your focus will be on shaping and advancing the Alter Domus Academy as a leading platform for employee development, ensuring our workforce is empowered with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors necessary to achieve business objectives and fulfill their career aspirations. This role is instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within Central Operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Shape and implement the Central Operations Academy strategy, ensuring alignment with global L&D goals, business priorities, and operational needs. Develop a future-ready, scalable learning organization to support strategic objectives.
  • Act as a key driver of knowledge transfer initiatives, ensuring that new ways of working are effectively embedded across Central Operations as part of the organization’s evolving operating model.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance structures, processes, and guidelines to support the consistent delivery of Academy initiatives across Central Operations.
  • Over time lead, coach, and develop the Central Operations Academy team, ensuring high engagement and motivation to deliver exceptional performance and drive the Academy’s objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership across Central Operations to ensure Academy initiatives align with organizational priorities, securing buy-in for the Academy’s vision and activities.
  • Conduct an organization-wide learning needs analysis across Central Operations in collaboration with HR and other key stakeholders. Translate insights into impactful learning solutions that address business needs.
  • Collaborate with Regional HR Partners and Subject Matter Experts to design, curate, and localize innovative content in areas such as Onboarding, Career Development, Leadership Development, Technical Skills, and Mandatory Training.
  • Champion the integration of digital learning solutions, AI, and automation to deliver engaging, scalable, and impactful learning experiences.
  • Oversee the Central Operations Academy Network to ensure learning solutions are tailored to functional and operational needs while delivering measurable business value.
  • Manage relationships with external learning providers to ensure quality, value for money, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage the Academy budget for Central Operations, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and maximizing ROI on learning investments.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications to develop a compelling Academy communications plan that inspires employees to engage with learning opportunities.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives using data-driven metrics and feedback. Ensure learning solutions drive measurable improvements in employee capability, engagement, and productivity.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and innovations in L&D to ensure the Academy remains cutting-edge and competitive.
  • Actively contribute to Organizational Effectiveness initiatives, such as change management, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement.


Qualifications & Experiences


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience driving L&D functions / projects in complex, multi-region environments.
  • Expertise in digital learning, AI, and modern L&D methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support Central Operations initiatives.
