About The Role

Our Equipment Sales & Services team plays a vital role in helping customers keep their safety equipment compliant, maintained and ready for use.We're looking for a Trainee Equipment Servicing Technician to join our team and begin a rewarding career. Whether you're starting out or looking for a practical role with real development opportunities, we'll provide the training, support and experience you need to succeed.
Working alongside experienced Technicians, you'll learn how to inspect, service and maintain specialist safety equipment, helping ensure our customers can rely on their equipment when it matters most.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the inspection, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of safety equipment
- Preparing equipment for customer hire, servicing and distribution
- Supporting warehouse activities, stock handling and equipment logistics
- Completing inspection reports, job sheets and system updates accurately
- Working alongside experienced Technicians in our workshop and, where appropriate, at customer sites
- Supporting the delivery and collection of hire equipment when required
- Building your knowledge of Working at Height, Confined Space, Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) and PPE products
- Following safe working practices and quality standards at all times
- Taking an active role in your own learning and professional development

- A good attention to detail and can complete work accurately
- Organised and able to follow processes and procedures
- Basic IT skills
- An interest in engineering, technical services or health and safety
- A Drivers Licence is advantageous but not essential
