Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Join our dedicated team at reputable primary schools across Mansfield where we are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our students. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Support students' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential).
