About the Role
As part of the Regional ERP team, you will be responsible for providing expert support, consulting, and continuous improvement services for the Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) module, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA.
This position requires strong expertise in accounting processes, financial operations, and SAP FI/CO solutions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the business, supporting Finance and Controlling initiatives, driving system enhancements, and contributing to projects that deliver innovative and effective solutions. Leveraging deep SAP application knowledge, the role serves as an internal consultant, ensuring business requirements are translated into efficient and scalable ERP processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for SAP S/4HANA system, primarily within SAP FI/CO.
- Act as a trusted consultant to business stakeholders, gathering requirements and delivering effective system solutions.
- Support and optimize Finance and Controlling processes, including workflows, approvals, compliance, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve integrations between FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD/MM).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive system enhancements to support evolving business needs.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance activities by providing analysis and recommendations.
- Work closely with Samsung subsidiaries across Europe to resolve business and system challenges.
- Contribute to project planning, testing, and deployment of new IT and business solutions.
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong SAP FI/CO expertise, ideally within S/4HANA environments.
- Experience supporting SAP solutions in a multinational organization.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe and to South Korea.
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP SD/MM, Fiori, and cross-functional SAP processes.
- Experience with SAP implementations, process improvement, audits, or consulting.
- Project IT management skills with ability to organize project work effectively, reprioritize as new demands/changes arise and to juggle a number of major projects
- Experience working with Samsung or within the retail/high-tech industry
- Good experience and expertise of consulting with top management and stakeholders.
HOURS OF WORK:
- 37.5-hour week.
