Play a part in keeping the vulnerable people of Leicestershire safe.

As a Safeguarding Assistant, you will be part of the Child and Adult Safeguarding Hub, conducting risk assessments ensuring safeguarding reports and referrals are reviewed efficiently and effectively. You will share relevant information with partnering agencies and internal stakeholders.

Using your excellent researching and reporting skills, you will work alongside Co-ordinators and Senior Leaders to interrogate police systems and compile reports based on reducing safeguarding risks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Compiling of adult and child safeguarding reports
  • Minute-taking for safeguarding meetings
  • Effective and proportionate information sharing with internal and external stakeholders

The must haves

  • Experience working within a confidential environment
  • Experience compiling data into accurate and informative reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
