Schedule: Part-time, 18 hours per week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 5:30am-11:30am

As a Receptionist in our Leisure team, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing clear information and a welcoming experience while helping our operations run smoothly. Your work will support both visitors and colleagues, ensuring a high standard of service every day.


In this role, you’ll help create a positive, professional environment where customer care and trust are at the forefront. From supporting daily reception activities to maintaining strong relationships, your contribution will make a real difference in how our services are experienced by the community.


What you’ll do as Receptionist

You’ll be entrusted to:


  • Provide excellent customer service face to face and over the telephone
  • Manage reception duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Handle cash transactions and follow financial procedures accurately
  • Support colleagues across the team when required
  • Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures
  • Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence

  • Confidence handling cash and maintaining accurate records
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve customer queries effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach
  • A flexible mindset, able to adapt to different situations and support the wider team


Vetting and checks:

As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
