Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our established Education sector team. This role focuses on delivering Department for Education projects, with a particular emphasis on school rebuild and refurbishment. You will manage a varied workload, balancing multiple instructions and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with compliance and planning controls. The role requires technical excellence and direct client engagement.

Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our established Education sector team. This role focuses on delivering Department for Education projects, with a particular emphasis on school rebuild and refurbishment. You will manage a varied workload, balancing multiple instructions and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with compliance and planning controls. The role requires technical excellence and direct client engagement.
Role Accountabilities
- Oversee project scope and operational workload, ensuring resources are fully utilised to deliver agreed programmes
- Independently produce plans and schedules, track and manage budgets, and highlight variances to control project delivery
- Deliver multiple projects, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet deadlines and project requirements
- Present project risks and issues to senior managers and ensure compliance standards are maintained
- Analyse project data to identify trends and provide recommendations for decision-making and process improvement
- Apply industry best practices to review project processes and policies, supporting continuous improvement
- Collaborate across teams and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed on project progress
- Advise senior management on project-related issues, providing technical expertise to support successful delivery
- Project management experience in school rebuild or refurbishment
- Department for Education experience highly desirable
- Experience managing medium complexity projects
- MRICS, MAPM or equivalent
- Confident engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
