We're recruiting a number of Painters here at Bromford Flagship Livewest, to help transform our properties into safe, welcoming homes for our customers. From refreshing tired spaces to tackling repairs, your work will make a real difference every day.

You’ll be out and about, working across properties, delivering a high-quality service and ensuring every finish meets our standards—first time.

Recruiting Areas

Suffolk and North Essex - Lowestoft, Leiston, Saxmundham, Ipswich, Colchester, Sudbury, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Framlingham

A11 Corridor - Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Brandon, Mildenhall, Red Lodge, Newmarket, Cambridge

Norfolk/North Norfolk - Cromer, North Walsham, Fakenham, Dereham

Hours: 40 hpw

Contract: Permanent + Company Van

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out a wide range of painting and decorating repairs and maintenance
• Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and finishing
• Completing glossing and full property decoration
• Cleaning and treating damp and mould
• Supporting with void clearances and flood repairs
• Working alongside other trades when needed
• Identifying issues such as asbestos and arranging appropriate action
• Using schedules of rates to estimate jobs and manage workloads efficiently
• Delivering excellent customer service to residents

What You'll Bring

• A Full Trade Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 2 in painting & decorating (or equivalent experience)
• Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to assess work requirements and plan tasks effectively
• Great customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Confidence using digital tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, scheduling systems)
• A full UK driving licence
• Willingness to join an out-of-hours on-call rota
