We have an exciting opportunity in our Southend Campus for a Lecturer, in Hair, within the Service Industries department
The successful applicant will need to have a Hairdressing qualification at level 3, for this year they will be leading the Introduction to Hairdressing course that will include the delivery of Level 1 English and Maths - so the applicant must also have good English and Maths skills. A teaching and assessing qualification is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills and ability to use tracking systems. The Lecturer will be responsible for supporting positive behaviour and attendance of cohort working with other members of the team and NOK. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives
