Job Title: Laboratory Production Operative
Contract, Shift: Permanent, Full Time, Friday to Tuesday, one week 7:30am - 3.30pm, the following week 12pm - 8pm

The Role:
The Laboratory Production Operative will provide essential processing of sample boxes for field staff/farmers to send in samples. Boxes are to be sent out to farms that are to the highest standard, so attention to detail and cleanliness is vital for this role. Basic maintenance of machines will be part of weekly/daily tasks. Carrying out your duties you will be required to work a shift consisting of five days on including weekends with two off during the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- To meet targets set by the Team Leader/Line Manager
- To ensure boxes and pots are washed to the highest standards.
- To alert on shift engineers to issues with machinery.
- To monitor the machine responsible for dosing and capping, making sure no pots are missed.
- To understand and follow all health and safety procedures involved with both the site and individual workstations.

- To have the ability to understand, follow and convey instructions.
- To have excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- To have good analytical skills
- To have good organisational and time management skills
- Be good at working in a team environment
- The ability to maintain technical equipment
- Computer Literate
