Speedibake are recruiting for an interim QMS Technologist. As a QMS Technologist you will be responsible supporting the Technical, Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics teams to improve Technical performance, in particular, full compliance with M&S audit requirements and codes of practice.

Speedibake are recruiting for an interim QMS Technologist. As a QMS Technologist you will be responsible supporting the Technical, Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics teams to improve Technical performance, in particular, full compliance with M&S audit requirements and codes of practice.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Technical Manager in ensuring full compliance with M&S audit requirements and codes of practice through structured gap analysis and the delivery of targeted action plans.
- Assist the Technical team in the review, redevelopment, and implementation of an enhanced site Quality Management System (QMS).
- Take ownership of the ongoing maintenance, control, and effective deployment of the QMS across site operations.
- Actively contribute to HACCP reviews and support the development and delivery of associated continuous improvement plans.
- Participate in both functional and cross-functional project activities, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of objectives.
- Support and contribute to external audit processes, ensuring readiness and compliance at all times.
- Ensure adherence to all Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards and requirements.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Technical team across all areas as required.
- Deputise for members of the Technical Management Team when necessary, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational effectiveness.
Skills/Experience
- 2 – 5 years experience in a Quality based role in a manufacturing industry with high quality standards.Internal auditing experience. Working knowledge of HACCP – preferably level 3 certified.
- Sound working knowledge of BRC standard.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Good Hygiene Practice.
- To always adhere to the Company Safety First requirements.
- Takes ownership, sets standards & takes personal responsibility for performance.
