Role Description
As a key member of the People function, you will play a central role in supporting employees, managers and HR colleagues within a dynamic, project-driven environment. Acting as a trusted first point of contact, you will manage and resolve a broad range of people queries, ensuring timely and consistent outcomes. Working closely with HR Leads, HR Partners and Associates, you will help deliver aligned and effective HR support across the business. Using your strong knowledge of HR processes and company policies, you will contribute to positive employee experiences while supporting organisational priorities and driving practical, people-focused solutions.
Core Duties

Core Duties
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers providing operational HR advice, guiding managers on day‑to‑day people matters
- Take a lead role in a unionised environment on Employee Relations cases, including handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance concerns and supporting managers with sensitive people issues
- Coach and influence line managers to build their confidence and capability in managing people effectively
- Support the monitoring of key people metrics and maintain accurate data within HR information systems
- Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including case management, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and coaching managers
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted, professional relationships at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively
- Experience within a Unionised environment
