The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating their skills and behaviours for the role in line with the role profile, including:

Knowledge of the principles of good governance
A customer focused approach and able to demonstrate awareness of internal and external customers needs and expectations
A willingness to learn and develop and adapt
Ability to proof-read, review the work of others and ensure the production of consistently high standard documentation, in particular items for publication on the website
Experience of successful delivery of service/business improvements

The Governance Team is a small but integral part of SHP providing a wide range of services including Board and executive support, office management, information governance and performance management.
