City: Wolverhampton
Contract type: Full time
What To Expect

  • Start Date: October 2026
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Time Type: Full-Time (5 days per week including weekend working)

  • As the newest member of Tesla’s Future Talent Traineeship Programme, you will play a key part in supporting us in our mission ‘to build a world of amazing abundance’ and form the next generation of Tesla talent.

This isn’t a 12-month shadowing exercise. You'll be fully integrated into our operations from day 1; real customers, real responsibility, real impact. Whether you’re looking for an alternative to further education, just graduated, or simply wanting a change of career to something a little more awesome, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who'd like to experience all the key entry-level roles we have on offer here at Tesla. This programme has a strong focus on potential rather than academic achievement, and you’ll receive expert career mentorship from industry professionals who are passionate about helping you succeed throughout every step of this fast-track programme.

We are currently offering Future Talent Trainee vacancies across our following UK locations:
  • Home Counties: Cambridge
  • Greater London: Park Royal, Dartford, St Albans
  • Midlands: Solihull, Wolverhampton
  • North: Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield
  • Scotland: Aberdeen, Glasgow
  • South: Southampton
  • Southwest: Bristol

  • Please note the final stage of this recruitment process will be an in-person group assessment day (hosted at select locations) in mid-late August 2026.

    What You'll Do
Your progression and performance will be reviewed at each key department rotation, equipping you with all the tools & skills required to succeed. Whilst this format may change be subject to business needs, the core departments you can expect to experience include:
  • Sales: Support customers through the Tesla purchase journey across retail, virtual, and field sales. Educate customers on the product, handle enquiries in person and remotely, and build confidence in real customer conversations.
  • Delivery: Support the end-to-end delivery experience across our delivery channels. Manage customer pipelines, communicate before collection, support readiness steps including finance, trade-ins and registration, assist with vehicle preparation, and contribute to a high-quality vehicle handover.
  • Service: Rotate through Tesla’s Service operation across Front of House, Parts, and Workshop. Support the customer journey, vehicle parts processes, and common vehicle service maintenance procedures alongside the team.
  • Elective Rotation: This final rotation will correlate with your potential future role post-programme, and a great chance to dive deeper in your chosen business area.

  • Your journey doesn’t end with the programme. Working alongside our people-focused leadership team, subject to your performance, you’ll have the opportunity to map out your potential future career trajectory within Tesla. Upon completion of the programme you will be given the opportunity to apply for any available full-time roles across the UK that align with your strengths and aspirations.

    What You'll Bring

  • Holding a Full UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year by the time of start date
  • Eager to embrace a fast-paced multi-departmental programme with unyielding enthusiasm & initiative
  • Willingness to travel to different Tesla locations and/or events on a regular basis (dependent on your home site location, please note you may be required to commute to your closest available Tesla hub as part of your delivery rotation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly responsive to constructive feedback, with a track record of applying notes and raising your standard
  • Ability to manage competing demands whilst maintaining a high quality of work.
  • A friendly, open demeanour with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to apply first principles thinking, challenge the status quo, and execute new ideas.
  • An excellent multi-tasker with proven problem-solving abilities
