Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

£12.71 - £13.00+ p/hour (DOE) + overtime at enhanced rates

Monday-Thursday | 06:00-16:00

Permanent position after probation

We're looking for a practical, hands-on Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds. This Assembly Operative role involves building, testing, and checking precision valve components in a steady but active production environment where quality really matters. If you're the type of person who likes working with tools and seeing a job through properly, this Assembly Operative position will suit you well.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Electronic and electrical assembly of components
  • Assembling and securing small parts with precision
  • Working confidently with hand and power tools
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Occasional mechanical assembly with stainless and mild steel

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable in a hands-on Assembly Operative role
  • Able to follow drawings and instructions accurately
  • Good with hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, steady, and happy in a production environment
  • Physically able to be active throughout the shift
