  • Working alongside our Debt Recovery team on matters requiring formal recovery action.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
  • Collaborating with Partners, fee earners, and support staff to resolve billing queries and support debt recovery activities.
  • Producing regular debt reports, analysing trends, and highlighting key issues.
  • Monitoring aged debt and reporting on credit control performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of collection activities and outstanding accounts.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience within Credit Control, Accounts, Finance Administration or Account Management.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Is confident and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possesses excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Has strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Can work independently whilst also contributing positively as part of a team.
  • Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Maintains high levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

The Perks

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Support Staff Bonus.
  • Free car parking for your convenience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including PMI, a pension, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, 25 days holiday plus an additional day for Christmas closure, and Perkbox benefits.
  • The opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive and dynamic team.
